In her role as a consultant for Carpenter Group, Erin serves as a user advocate on projects from initial discovery and strategic development through execution. Her work focuses on bringing corporate objectives to life by planning and creating interactions that fulfill user needs and expectations. Some of her most recent endeavors include strategic, interactive and print work for clients such as MetLife, ADP, Lehman Brothers and Ameriprise.
Erin is currently building her portfolio of international clients and projects, while instructing a graduate course on Methods of Interaction Design and collaborating to develop a Service Design graduate program at Istanbul Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Previously, Erin worked as an Information Architect in the Simplification Group at Siegel & Gale, where she developed online banking experiences and simplified complex financial documents. Her clients there ranged from SunTrust Bank and Genworth Financial to Dell and Penske. At Catapult Thinking in Boston, she generated positioning statements, conducted user research, and named products for clients such as iRobot and Shure. Erin graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University with a B.S. in Journalism and holds a Master of Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
