Titan Advisors had moved from its roots as a hedge fund-of-fund provider to a diverse alternative investments firm serving a variety of investors. Following a strategic acquisition, Titan expanded its areas of investment expertise, investor base and lines of business. Its outdated brand wasn’t able to tell the full story of what it had become. Titan strove to refresh, reinvigorate and re-launch its brand.

Despite growing and changing capabilities, Titan Advisors never wavered from unparalleled levels of transparency, a sharp eye for opportunity and its focus on creating notable, proprietary technology platforms — which it shared with select clients. Unlike so many alternative investment firms, Titan Advisors wasn’t a “black box,” but an open, collaborative partner. With this as our inspiration, Carpenter Group recommended that Titan brand its way of working a “blue box” approach to celebrating the firm’s openness and transparency and contrast it with the predominant industry approach.

The “blue box” idea was expressed both visually and verbally in the identity and voice created for the firm. We developed a story that communicated Titan’s value proposition, and redesigned its logo. Titan’s brand story and visuals came to life within their website and were the foundation for re-crafting the firm’s pitch book and investor communications.

The new brand not only resonated with investors and re-sparked their interest but empowered Titan’s employees, giving them an energized sense of pride in the firm and its goals for investors. [Any specifics we know about that can be added here?]
