Shelly Danse, who joins Carpenter Group as SVP, Strategic Partnerships, brings over two decades’ experience in financial services, an amazing record of accomplishments, and a stellar reputation—in branding, advertising, content marketing, communications, design, digital, thought leadership and strategy…

A veteran marketer at helping financial companies grow their brands

Shelly Danse helps financial services firms identify opportunities and break new ground. Her marketing expertise has made her a valued resource for some of the industry’s best-known names, including Bank of America, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, New York Life and BNY Mellon among many others.

Shelly most recently established and launched the US division of Editions Financial, a global content marketing firm. Earlier in her career, she held key positions with MMB, Addison, Wechsler Ross & Partners and Standard & Poorʼs. An active member of Women in Funds and the Financial Communications Society, Shelly holds a B.A. in English from Hamilton College.

“I’m excited to be joining Carpenter Group for many reasons—not least of which is the mark it has made as a woman-founded agency with a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion,” she says. Adds Carpenter Group founder Polly Carpenter, “Shelly joins us at a pivotal moment in the evolution of our industry—and in an era of historic firsts for women. In serving our clients, we have access to tools that either didn’t exist just a decade ago or lacked today’s power and reach.”

While these resources make it possible to target audiences more effectively and accurately than ever before, some things remain unchanged, says Shelly. “At Carpenter Group, the focus is still on forging long-term relationships with clients, knowing their business—aspirations, pain points and all—and telling their story in a new and compelling way.”

“I’ve gotten to know Shelly over the years as a professional colleague, problem-solver and industry pioneer,” says Polly. “She is a perfect fit for our firm—and our clients.”
